FUFA Big League: Wakiso Giants gets off the mark as Kitara’s woes continue

Having played to two consecutive stalemates in their opening two fixtures, Wakiso Giants finally got off the mark with a convincing victory over Kataka FC.

Goals from Ivan Kiweewa, Hassan Wasswa and skipper Feni Ali capped a stellar performance from the Purple sharks in their first home game of the season.

Kitara FC woes continued as David Ndihabwe’s goal came a little too late to help them win their first game. Godfrey Wasswa had earlier on put Kira into the lead.

Allan Kabonge’s Entebbe fired blanks in Nebbi and they continue to be winless.

Hebert Katongole and Sulaiman Majanjalo were on the score sheet as UPDF FC beat Amuka Bright Stars 2-0 at Bombo military grounds to secure their first win of the season.

Bumate United lost 5-0 to Kansai Plascon at Mukono Bishops Grounds. Frank Muna, Brian Oyuka, Robert Ssentongo, Moses Nakibinge and Henry Kitagenyi all scored for Kansai Plascon. Bumate have lost all their 3 opening games.

Kireka United’s game against Proline FC which was postponed will be played on Monday 19th- November as today Mandela National Stadium was used by Uganda Cranes for training.

William Galabuzi struck late to secure a well deserved point for Ntinda United who were trailing newcomers Dove FC, Bright Haguma had put the Dove upfront.
