Uganda Premier League side Express Football Club has officially confirmed the appointment of Daniel Kiwanuka as their new goalkeeping coach.
Kiwanuka joins the six time Uganda Premier League side on a two year employment contract from KCCA FC and replaces Sam Kawalya who stepped down from the role due to health concerns.
“Express FC is one of the historical clubs in Uganda but most importantly, I am here because I want a new challenge.” I have achieved everything there’s to win in the Ugandan football league hence the need to seek for a new challenge.” Kiwanuka revealed to the club website.
Kiwanuka has also previously managed both the U17 and U20 boys and girls teams respectively.
He joins the technical bench headed by Wasswa Bbosa, assistant James Odoch, Fitness coach Hassan Mubiru, strength and conditioning Helen Buteme and performance analyst Ainebyona.
The new Uganda Premier league campaign is expected to kickoff on 20th November.
