ESTONIA: Lubega scores 14th league goal in victory over Trans Narva

Edrisa Lubega scored his 14th goal of the season in Paide Linnameeskond’s 4-2 win over Trans Narva in the Estonia Premium Liiga on Sunday afternoon.

Lubega opened the scores in the 6th minute with a neat finish from Sergei Mosnikov’s well-laid pass.

Kevin Kauber (20′) and substitute Henri Anier who scored a brace in the second half, were also on the score sheet for the winning side.

Arseni Kovaltusuk found the two consolations for Trans Narva each in either half.

Lubega’s 14th goal of the season makes him the club’s leading scorer thus far and the second in the league overall.

Additionally, he managed to score nine goals in four games in the Estonia Cup before they were unfortunately eliminated on Wednesday.

His immediate assignment will be Uganda’s AFCON qualifiers doubleheader against South Sudan in the coming week.

Paide Linnameeskond are second on the league table with 60 points accumulated from 27 games played.

They will play against FCI Levadia away from home in the next league fixture on 22nd November.

Paide will host the league leaders Flora FC on November 29th before ending their season with another home game against Nomme Kalju on December 6th.
