Venue : Bugembe Stadium
Date : 30th, March, 2018

Kirinya Jinja SS FC will be looking to continue with their brilliant form when they welcome KCCA FC at Kyabazinga Stadium a venue were the hosts have only lost one league game this season against Soana. In the previous seasons no one could take this contest as a serious one but this time it is a must watch for everyone.
Both sides come in this contest with only a point separating them on the Azam Uganda Premier log, KCCA are third with 36points whereas Kirinya are fourth with 35 points and they have played 3 more games over their opponents.
Charles Ayiekoh’s charges come in this contest after breaking Maroons’ 15 match invincibility in their previous game thanks to a Musa Esenu brace that inspired them to a 2-1 win at Luzira Prisons Grounds.
The visitors last league encounter was against Soana on 3rd, March,2018 winning 1-0 at StarTimes Stadium, courtesy of a Julius Poloto header. They have played fewer league games than the rest of the teams due to
CAF Champions league encounters against CNAPs and St. George respectively.
This will be the fourth meeting between the two sides in the topflight division, with KCCA FC winning 2 and drawing once in the previous encounters. In the first round Kirinya lost 2-1 at StarTimes Stadium.

KCCA FC assistant coach Morley Byekwaso is confident his side will get a needed result despite missing some of their key players
“We have prepared well for this encounter and I expect our players to put up a great display and win the game.”
The game comes when we are missing some of our players who are with the U-20 team but we are to use the players who have not been playing regularly and this is where the depth in squad comes into play.”
KCCA FC will be without the trio of Allan Okello, Julius Poloto and Mustafa Kizza who are currently with the Hippos as they prepare for the U-20 AFCON qualifier against South Sudan on Saturday.
Kirinya will miss the services of hotshot Fred Amaku who has scored 7 goals for them. Bashir Mutanda and Joel Madondo are expected to fill in for him.
The visitors will put their trust in Muhammad Shaban, Muzamir Mutyaba and in form goalkeeper Charles Lukwago.
A win for Kirinya will see them leapfrog KCCA in third place while victory for Mike Mutebi’s charges will see them close the gap to 4 off leaders Sc Villa who have also played 3 more games.
