Claire Lamunu sweeps awards in the Portuguese Female Basketball League.

Portuguese based Ugandan basketballer Claire Lamunu scooped four awards in the Portuguese basketball league including making it to two of the first teams of the year.

Claire who plays her basketball for Bo Viagem Angra-Acore Basketball club, was signed from Vanguard University at the beginning of the 2017-18 season was awarded The player of the year, Centre of the year, New comer of the year, Import player of the year, listed among the first team of the season as well as among All Imports Team of year.

The power forward who built her legacy first at KCC Leopards has had a tremendous basketball career having won numerous accolades with Vanguard Lions which also included player of the year award having averaged 22.9 points per game as well as scoring the highest overall number of points 664.
