CAF appoints match officials for Uganda’s duel against South Sudan

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the match officials to officiate the Group B double header of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers between Uganda and South Sudan.

Congo Brazzaville’s Messie Jessie Oved Nkoukou Mvoutou will be the center referee with his fellow country man Styven Danek Styven Moutssasi Moyo as the first assistant referee.

The second assistant referee will be Jospin Luckner Malonga from the Central African Republic while Lazard Tsiba Kamba from Congo Brazaville is the reserve referee.

Tanzanian Khalid Abdallah Mohammed has been appointed as the match commissioner and Micheal Gasingwa from Rwanda is the referee’s accessor.

Uganda Cranes will host South Sudan from St.Mary’s Stadium Stadium Kitende on Saturday 14th November as Mandela National Stadium Namboole is gazzeted for treatment of COVID-19 patients .

The return match will be played on 17th November in Tanzania.

Uganda Cranes top Group B with four points only bettering second placed Burkina Faso on goal difference. Malawi Flames are third on three points and South Sudan fourth without any point.
