Busoga United confirm new home ground

Uganda Premier League side Busoga United have confirmed Kakindu Stadium as their new home ground ahead of the forthcoming season.

Busoga United has been hosting their home games from The Mighty Arena grounds Jinja.

This was confirmed through an official statement released by the club dated 16th-October 2020

The management of Busoga United FC is delighted to profoundly make this official announcement for change of home stadium from The Mighty Arena- Jinja SS to Kakindu Stadium for the forthcoming 2020/21 season.” Read part of the statement

The club has also managed to capture the signature of Tibita Laban while left back Julius Debo Junior, goalkeepers Ali Kimera and Rodgers Omedwa have signed contract extensions.

They have lost David Bagoole (Vipers SC), Benson Wagima (Bright Stars)Nelson Mandela (Maroons FC) and Ibrahim Mugulusi (BUL)

Under the stewardship of Abbey Bogere Kikomeko, Busoga United finished 5th last season with 42 points in the 25 games played
