BUL signs utility player Farouk Banga

Jinja based side BUL FC has captured the signature of utility player Farouk Banga from Bright Stars on a 2 year deal.

Banga is a tried and tested versatile player who can ably feature as a striker but also as a central midfielder. He was top scorer in the 2014 edition of the University football league while representing Kampala International University.

He has previously played for Friends Sc Lugazi and Azam Fc before joining Bright Stars in January 2016. He also played for Bululi, Bulemezi and Mawokota in Masaza Cup which acts as platform for young and new talents.

He becomes BUL FC’s 6th signing after Musa Malunda from Vipers, Richard Matovu from Kyetume, Villa Oromchan from Paidha Black Angels, Marijan Fadir and Lubwama Joshua Letti.

Banga scored a first half header as BUL fell to Bright stars in Mwererwe last season

They finished 6th on the Uganda Premier League table with 39 points collected from 30 games played.
