Hamis Tibita’s 78th minute strike has subjected Proline to their 6th loss in the last 7 games to extend their woeful form that drives them to no where else other than relegation.

Having gone 7 games without a win, Proline came into this game with only one option and that was winning but to their surprise BUL FC was not about to give in easily.

However, there was hardly a goal scoring opportunity created in this game until after 34 minutes of play when Hamisi Tibita took a long range shot in approximately 25 yards but only to be denied by Said Keni in the Proline goal who punched the ball out for a corner kick.

By halftime, game which still looked balanced was still 0-0.

At the start of the second half, Proline appeared re- energized, they looked goal hungry. Making continuous attacks but the opponents’ defence under the captaincy of Yusufu Mukisa appeared to be too organized and disciplined.

The Lugogo based side will have Sula Matovu and striker Daniel Isiagi to blame for not scoring a goal in this game.

At only 10 minutes into the second half of the game, BUL FC narrowly survived when striker Daniel Isiagi got an opportunity to score for the hosts with a simple tap-in only to shoot the ball wide.

8 minutes later, Sula Matovu was on with a similar opportunity but chose wait until he could run past the goal keeper but the BUL defence reacted swiftly to clear the ball out of danger.

Hamis Tibita was on the run minutes later when he met a cross ball from second half substitute Douglas Owori at the egde of the 18 yards box to shoot past Said Keni into the back of the net to break the deadlock for the visitors in the 78th minute and Bul bagged 3 points.

BUL FC has now collected 25 points 8th position on the table while Proline FC drop to 15th with 18 points and remain in the relegation zone.

In the next fixtures, Proline FC will visit Bright Stars at Mwererwe while BUL will host Police FC at Kakindu stadium in Jinja on 13th, March,2018.
