Bright stars’ winless streak continues after falling to Tooro United

Bright stars descendent form has extended this evening after falling to 2 goals down at the hands of Tooro United.

They have now gone 6 matches without a win, managed only 2 points from out of the possible 18 on at disposal, their last win coming on December 1st 2018 against Paidha.

They fell to early goal from Mike Kawooya that went unanswered up to to half time.

On resumption, Bright stars’ Fred Kajoba introduced on Juma Ssebadduka and Andrew Kaggwa for Henry Kiwanuka and Dan Birikwalira respectively. James Angu replaced Moses Okot in the 79th minute.

Moments later, Wasswa Bbosa also substituted Steven Omvia for Baker Buyala and Joshua Kaliisa came on for Mahad Yaya Kakooza.

There was some drama with a quarter an hour to play, when Tooro United got awarded with a penalty which Fred Kajoba felt wasn’t deserving and he henceforth called his players off in objection.

They however adhered to the rules and returned to the pitch allowing Allan Kayiwa to flawlessly convert from the spot to extend the hosts’ lead and ultimately sealing all 3 points for Tooro.

Bright stars’ Augustin Kacancu was the only player to get into the referee’s books

Tooro United move one place to 10th place on 20 points above Kirinya Jinja S. S.

Bright stars surrender their 8th place to Express FC who earned a point from their duel with Ndejje University at Wankulukuku.
