BOXING : Muhoozi to support UBF with Boxing equipment

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has given the Uganda Boxing Federation an overwhelming promise to support Boxing with equipment worth 34million.

The first son was the chief guest at the climax of the National Open Boxing Championship and he hailed the Ministry of Education and Sports alongside the National Council for Sports for the support rendered to Sports activities in the country.

“I am very delighted to be here with you and I do thank all Boxers who have competed including the ladies in the National Open. I commend the ministry of Education and Sports alongside NCS for the overwhelming support to sports in the country. I believe the Boxers will give us joy both on the regional and on the international stage.

“Sports activities need support because they comprise of young talented boys and girls who need much support to showcase their talents.”

” I will support the Boxing Federation with 80 pairs of gloves, 80 pairs of punching guards and 40 punching bags worth a monetary value of 34m.”

Muhoozi also promised to inform the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to get the Boxing Federation another ring.
