The two face off with the memories of the Uganda Cup quarter final still fresh where Kyetume edged the Purple Sharks in a penalty shoot out.

Wakiso Giants will not only target vengeance over Kyetume but also extending their lead on the summit of the Elgon table to nine points.

A win for Kyetume can as well trim Wakiso’s 6-point lead to three points.

After playing 14 games, Wakiso have accumulated 32 points compared to Kyetume’s 26.

Ibrahim Kirya expects a tough game but affirms his charges are targeting nothing less than maximum points.

” It will be a very tough game against a good side but we are ready and the target is to pick maximum points. What happened in the past games isn’t important.” Kirya says.

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 stalemate at the Nakisunga grounds in Mukono.

Kirya ushers Norman Ogik, Hakim Senkumba and Ayub Kisalita back after missing the club’s previous game.

Kyetume coached by Allan Kabonge and Jackson Mia Mia Mayanja will put trust in the experienced legs of Robert Sentongo and Vincent Kayizzi.

In the other games to be played, Third placed Dove All Stars will make a trip to Jinja to take on JMC Hippos at Kakindu stadium.

Bukedea Town Council play host to army-side UPDF at the Emokori grounds in Bukedea district.

Amuka Bright Stars welcome Entebbe FC in a relegation 6-pointer at the UTC, Lira grounds. Only two points separate Amuka who are 7th from 9th Entebbe.

Amuka Bright Stars (Green) defeated Nebbi Central 2-1 in their previous fixture

Lowly sides Kataka FC and Nebbi Central will play in the second relegation 6-pointer of the day. Both sides are sitting in the bottom places of the Elgon table with Nebbi 11th after accumulating 11 points, one less than their opponents.
