Betway Power continues with a fine start as the Tusker Lite NBL runs day 2.

By: Nacho Black Armo

After a greater opener that saw them came from 3 quarters down to win 64-56 over City Oilers, Betway Power continued with their run against Charging Rhinos.

Rhinos who grabbed a 62-57 win over Dolphins on opening day surely looked clueless against the 5 time champions Power.

Power showed exclusive dominance from the start leading 23-12 and 43-21 through the first quarter and half time respectively.

The 3rd and last quarters were no different as Power kept in comfortable lead 64-32 and winning it 97-46 in a game Paul Odong scored 19 points.

The action continued with Ndejje University who seemed too strong for new lads KCCA Men condemning them yet to another loss having lost 55-82 to KIU Titans on opening day.

Roger Sserunyigo’s men fall prey to Ndejje University Angels in a 48-72 loss in a game that saw Innocent Ochera score 21 points.

The disappointment on the evening was the failure for UCU Canons to present their Hepatitis B immunisation cards as by the federation rules hence giving a walkover to Pemba Warriors.
