Benjamin Mpirwe renews contract with Nyamityobora FC

FUFA Big League side Nyamityobora FC have awarded defender Benjamin Mpirwe with a new contract that will keep him at club for two more year unless otherwise.

Mpirwe who primarily plays as a left back, was part of the Nyamityobora FC squad that competed in the 2018/19 Uganda Premier League before the club was unfortunately relegated.

His contract extension comes a day the free spending club unveiled Dickson Niwamanya and Johnson Turinawe as their latest signings from Kigezi Homeboyz.

Mpirwe joins club captain Clinton Kamugisha and Martin Arinaitwe “Chicharito” as the players who have so far signed contract extensions with the Mbarara outfit christened “The Abanyankare”

Juma Sabiti, Mubarak Kakooza, Brian Nyabwina, Tonny Musinguzi, Muhammad Matovu, Wahab Lwanga, Ismail Fauz Aliganyira, Mahad Rashid, Patrick Ssekitoleko, Rashid Nsubuga, Remmy Makumbi, Adam Kizza Katongole, Solomon Mboowa, Fred Jjuuko, Dickson Niwamanya and Johnson Turinawe are the 16th new signings at the club.

Nyamityobora FC will be under head coach Richard Makumbi with Denis Kiyimba as his immediate assistant as they target bouncing back to the top flight.

29th October 2020 remains the tentative date for the kick off of the 2020-21 FUFA Big League season.
