Bright Anukani has joined KCCA FC on a season long loan deal from relegated side Proline FC.

Anukani completed the move to the Mike Mutebi coached side on Wednesday following months of speculation and negotiations.

The young attacking midfielder has been touted as an ideal replacement for Allan Okello who joined Paradou AC early this year.

Anukani who now has two years left on his Proline FC contract, joined the Stanbic Uganda Cup holders in 2017.

He was a nominee in the 2019 Airtel FUFA Awards having played a starring role in Proline’s historical journey of winning Uganda Cup and FUFA Big League title.

He was named the MVP of the FUFA Big, represented Uganda on both the senior and U-20 level. In fact, he was instrumental in Uganda’s CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup triumph last December.

The exciting midfielder joins KCCA at the time the club is preparations for the forthcoming CAF Confederation Cup.

Anukani becomes the sixth signing of KCCA in the ongoing transfer window following Ashraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga, Italian Mazengo Stefano Loro, Denis Iguma and Pius Obuya.
