Al Ittihad rallied from a goal down to edge Alex Isabirye’s Somalian side Horseed SC 4-1 in the CAF Confederation Cup final.

Isabirye believes with time the team shall grow to favorably compete as he now focuses on building the team,

“It has not been a bad game we scored a goal but unfortunately we lost the game.”

“Players are just learning how to play professionally and I know with time we shall impress.”

The former URA FC tactician now focuses on building and the return leg seems to be coming early for that,

” I have spent little time with the team barely two months the players have a lot to learn but I believe with time we shall be making it.”

“Our emphasis is now on the league but in my future plans I want to expose these players and this will be done through engaging in friendly games especially with our neighboring states.”

Ibrahim Kazindula is in Somalia with Horseed SC and is likely to miss out on the CAF Confederation Cup return leg as he is yet to finalise.

The return leg for both sides will be played on 6th-December.
