Airtel Uganda has on Tuesday, 24th November joined the Buganda Kingdom to the launch of the prestigious Masaza cup tournament during a press briefing at Bulange Mengo.
The event was attended by the telecommunication company officials led by Managing Director Manoj Murali and Buganda Kingdom officials led by Owek. Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, Minister of Sports, Leisure and Recreation in the Kingdom Owek. Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu
The telecommunication company has also handed over UGX 650M towards the 2020 Masaza cup tournament.
Speaking at the launch. Airtel Uganda Managing Director applauded the Kingdom towards their commitment to the tournament.

The Katikkiro of Buganda Owekitiibwa Charles Peter Mayiga thanked Airtel Uganda for their support towards Buganda kingdom activities.

Each participating team has been given Shs4M, two sets of jerseys and four balls.
Bulemezi Ssaza lifted the 2019 Airtel Masaza Cup following a 1-0 victory over Busiro in extra time.
Reigning champions Bulemeezi and Butambala will face off in the opening game at FUFA technical centre, Njeru on 12th December.
This year, teams have been permitted to use five substitutes during the championship.
