Paul Nvuni and Tavin Kyeyune Kevin orchestrated Mawogola’s victory while John Musasizi had scored Ssingo’s only goal on the evening.

Having played to a goalless draw against Bugerere in the opening game, Ssingo sit 4th on the 5-team table of group C with 1 point garnered from 2 games.

In the other fixture of Group C, Bugerere earned a hard fought 1-0 away win against Butambala at Kibibi Secondary school grounds in Butambala.

In Group A, Kyaddondo played a goalless stalemate with holders Gomba at Gayaza High school grounds to maintain their position at the summit of the group.

At Kasenyi grounds, Buwekula shook off their opening day defeat with a 2-1 win over Kabula. Captain Nvule Jamir Kisitu opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Ivan Bogere doubled the lead. Joseph Vuni scored a consolation for Kabula in the later kicks of the game.

Youthful striker Frank Ssebuufu scored for Buddu in their 1-1 draw against neighbours Kkooki at Lwanda grounds in Rakai district. Julius Mugema leveled the scores for Kkooki.

Bulemeezi were inspired by a Bright Kone brace to a 2-0 victory over islanders Ssesse at Kasana grounds in Luweero.

Elsewhere, Buvuma managed a slim 1-0 away win over Buluuli in Nakasongola whereas a lethargic Busiro side played to a goalless draw with Mawokota at Sentema grounds.
