AFCON U23: Mbarara City’s Makweth Wol to lead South Sudanese surge against Kobs

Lanky striker Makweth Wol will be in the limelight when the South Sudan U23 team locks horns the Uganda Kobs on Tuesday at Lugogo.

The Mbarara City striker is one of the four foreign based players in the 25-man South Sudanese squad for the double legged AFCON U23 Qualifier.

Among others is Kenyan based defender John Kuol Chol who turns up for Kariobangi Sharks, Levi Wani and Mandela Malish who are also based in Uganda.

The South Sudanese have reportedly been camping in Gulu in Northern Uganda before making a trip to Kampala ahead of the first leg encounter.
