The Uganda Cranes left Egypt after a five-day training camp in Cairo ahead of the final AFCON qualifier game against Tanzania.
A delegation of 34 people (24 players and 10 officials) left Cairo on Friday night and are expected in Dar es Salaam at noon via Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
The team is expected to hold it’s final training session at the National Stadium at 6:00pm before locking horns with the Taifa Stars on Sunday 24th March.
Uganda has already qualified for the 2019 AFCON final tournament to be held in Egypt while Tanzania, Cape Verde and Lesotho will scramble for the final slot.
Tanzania (5 points) are third, Lesotho (5 points) are second while Cape Verde are bottom placed with 4 points.
