‘”We want to compete better than we did last season ” said Ntale Vicky who is A1’s team Captain.

A1′ is in a bit of crisis, they will have to settle scores with Natuhereza’s punk charges as well as planting new life after losing and recruiting new players,Dorothy Kyamazima a notable Guard crossed to Kcca Leopards, while, Nanyonga Rachel and Birungi Desire crossed to Magic Stormers where they earlier both played at,they will also have to wait for another key player, Meme Rukia who is on maternity leave and likely to miss out in action for some big time.

However, A1 have bosted their squad in signing, Nyapendi Maureen from St Mary’s Kitende, Akol Elizabeth from Lioness, Norah Namutosi, Ainematsiko Marco from Lioness, Kirungi Charlene from Gladiators as well as Kirungi Ruth.

UCU Lady Canons haven’t lost any key player, they will kick start the season with the same players that helped them win the league as they got the better spoils against A1 Challenge . Having won the league back to back Lady Canons will be looking for nothing less.
